PLAY DAY SATURDAY!

Every Saturday at 2PM- 3:30  Aerial Inspirations we have 'PLAY TIME' a chance for everyone to come practice. There is still help if needed (spotting and instructions for new moves) but more of a chance for people to meet new aerial and pole friends and have a play around together. Unfortunately this is not for people brand new to pole or aerial you have to of had at least 3 sessions in either pole or aerial. You do not have to be a student from just Aerial Inspirations, if you attend a different studio you can also come along. Instructors from other studios also welcome!

If you would like to come along just book through the 'book lessons' tab on the website.

TRAVEL: SKYDEN

From Worcester ⇒ Northumberland, stopping in the Lake district first to see waterfalls. Then onto Kielder water & forest park, because of it being out of season it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves, a private lesson doing Archery and a quiet lakeside walk looking for red squirrels.

Then travelling a little over five minutes to the Sky Den where we stayed for two days. An Incredible design built on stilts with the river running right underneath you. A roof that literally opens and furniture that you pull out of the walls and slot together yourself. A MUST GO, It's on a site which provide a load of indoor and outdoor activities you can book at the desk (which are very reasonably priced) so you will never be bored. It's perfect for a long weekend away.

You can book the Sky Den through www.canopyandstars.com

SWING POLE BENDY TRICKS

Twisted shapes on Swing pole.

First move is from an inside leg hang, then pulling your torso up to able to hook the bottom foot. Once that foot is locked on the pole you feel locked in to able to let go with your hands and lean back.

NEW HOOP COMBO

Making some magic with my aerial sister Laura Jackson. The secret behind the first move is complete counter- balance, being able to push into the feet allows Laura to lean all the way back whilst keeping my head high and chest out.

The drops are all relying on Laura's super strength in legs to be able to hold my whole body weight. With the drop I squeeze my armpits into the feet to be able to securely hold the straddle.
